William (Wolf ben Shaya Aziel)

Born on Sep 16, 1884. Immigrated on Jul 6, 1901 to Ellis Island, NY. William (Wolf) died on Jul 23, 1959; he was 74. Buried in Beth David, Elmont, NY.

On Nov 18, 1906 when William (Wolf) was 22, he married Dora (Devora Meryl) Tulipan, daughter of Pinchas Tulipan, in Manhattan, NY.11 Dora (Devora Meryl) died on Aug 16, 1960.

They had the following children:
i. Jean. Born in 1908 in Manhattan, NY.
ii. Anna. Born in Jan 1909 in Manhattan, NY.
On Dec 26, 1930 when Anna was 21, she married Joseph Marks, son of Max Marks & Delmo Morinsky, in Bronx, NY. Born in 1900 in London, England.
iii. Gertude. Born in 1910 in Manhattan, NY.
iv. Philip. Born in Oct 1916 in Manhattan, NY.

Ellis Island Ship Manifest:
On July 6, 1901 Wolf Kadetzky (17) arrived at Ellis Island on the Phonecia. His last residence was Biezun, Russia. His destination is listed as his brother-in-law Jos. Rosenstein at 56 Broome Str.

1910 US Census:
William (25) and Dora (24) Cadetsky lived at East 103 St in Manhattan, NY with children Jennie (2) and Anna (1 yr, 3 m). William and Dora were born in Russia while their daughters were born in NY. Dora’s parents were from Austria. William immigrated in 1902 and Dora immigrated in 1903. William worked as an operator at a dress company.

1920 US Census:
William (35) and Dorothy (24) Kadetsky lived at 510 Concord Ave, Bronx, NY with children Jennie (12), Annie (11), Gertrude (9), and Philip (3 yr, 4m). William and Dorothy immigrated in 1900 and were naturalized in 1904. William was born in Russia, Dorothy in Austria and all the kids in NY. William worked as an operator in a dress factory.

1930 US Census:
William (44) and Dora (44) Kadetsky lived at 1254 Whaler Ave, Bronx, NY with children Jean (21), Gertrude (19), and Philip (14). William immigrated in 1900 and Dora immigrated in 1901. Both were naturalized. William was born in Poland, Dorothy in Austria and all the kids in NY. William worked as an operator in a dress factory, Jean worked as Clerical for the telephone company and Gertrude worked in a department store.

Living at the same address in 1930 as per the census was Samuel and Clara Tulipan of possible relation to Dora Tulipan.
