Hyman Kadetsky Reappears!

I don't understand why I can't find something when I look for it directly, but find it instead when searching for a different individual. Huh? I just don't get it. Anyway, I wanted to know more about Hyman's father, Abraham Kadetsky and searched for him and Hyman's death record pops up as the first search result on familysearch.com. Here is a link to the record, https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVRN-7TCQ This record shows that the Hyman Kadetsky in Chicago was Abraham Kadetsky and Pesa Karneson's son. He died on October 13, 1957 and is listed as 60 years old. His birth records from Biezun indicate that he was born January 29, 1889 and would be 68 years old. I don't know who the informant, Rosemary Wells is. Hyman lived at 5335 N California Avenue, which is the same address that is listed on Ruth Kadetsky's death certificate. Ta-Da. Hyman Kadetsky has reappeared!

In 1878, Abram Kadecki (Абрам КАДЕЦКИЙ) married Pessa KARNISZYN (Песса КАРНИШИН).

Gussie Kadetski and Abraham Greenberg marriage record

On October 22, 1908, Abraham, D. Greenberg (25yo) and Gussie Kadetski (23yo) married in East Boston Massachusetts. Gussie lived in Everett, Jefferson, 145 St. Abraham D. Greenberg worked as a tailor and lived at Everett, Woodlawn, 39 St. Both were born in Russia. Gussie's parents were Abraham Kadetski and Pessie Karnishine. Abraham's parents were Harry Greenberg and Annie Mapactick?.

Hesse Karniszyn Kadecki (45yo) traveled with Anschel (20yo) , Eidel (11 yo) and Chane (9yo) from Biezun on the Noordam and arrived at Ellis Island on 8/20/1907. They joined their husband/father Abram Kadecki at 34 Mal? Street, Boston MA.

Abraham (b. 1862 Poland arrived USA 1091 ) and Bessie Karniszyn (b. 1862, Poland -  arrived USA 1905) lived in Massachusetts with children Arthur (b.1890, Poland), Hyman (b.1896, Poland) Kadet-

sky and Ida Mussman (b.1897, Poland).

1901 Abraham Kadetsky

After 1901, arrivals were more frequent - did they come to join families or on their own?  Who did they leave behind?  Who came later to join them?  Who did they write letters to and who did they never see again? Abraham, age 39, arrived in New York  in 1901.  His arrival record states he was from Biezun - we begin to come closer to our origins with that detail, which none of the previous arrivals stated.

In 1905 the Kadetsky party below arrived in New York:

Bessie arrived in the United States in 1905. Both of their parents are listed as being from Poland. Abraham’s occupation is listed as “Junk-man in a junk shop.” Living with Abraham and Bessie are their children:

1. Arthur (male born about 1890 in Poland). Arthur arrived in the United States in 1905.
2. Hyman (male born about 1896 in Poland). Hyman arrived in the United States in 1905.

Also living with Abraham and Bessie are:

1. Abraham’s son-in-law, Samuel MUSEMAN (born about 1893 in East Russia).
2. Abraham’s daughter (wife of Samuel MUSEMAN), Ida (born about 1897 in Poland).
3. Abraham’s grandson, Jake MUSEMAN (born about 1919 in Massachusetts)
4. Abraham’s grandson, Arthur MUSEMAN (born about 1919 in Massachusetts).
