Jake Kadetsky marries Rebecca Wallockstein Aug 23, 1905
Here we have Jake Kadetsky (second son of Abraham Joseph 1879 and Schifra Kaufrman Kadetsky) and Rebecca Wallockstein's wedding announcement, probably from the Jewish Advocate. On August 23, 1905 they got married and, here comes the fun part, the Kadetsky Ushers were:
Louis (Jake's brother) (Steve's gf)
Benjamin (Jake's brother)
Charles (there was a brother by that name too)
Samuel (there was no brother by that name so he must be a cousin. Isaac 1871 had a son called Samuel so that is most likely he, confirming the family relationship, whatever it might be)
Edward (Isaac 1871 also had a son by that name so we reconfirm the family ties.... )
Jack Kadetsky ((Isaac 1871 also had a son by that name so we again reconfirm the family ties.... )
B. Kadetsky (probably Isaac 1871's son Benjamin)
Louis Barkin (ring any bells?)
Samuel Arkin (seems like too much of a coincidence? Arkin/BArkin?)
S.F.Matthews (sound familiar)?
R Rubenstein (sound familiar?
and S. Wasserzug (Simon Waters - Adeline's son)

Szlamowicz Kadecki Tree circa 1770?
This tree seems to be important to the American Kadetskys. It is based on the Biezun Records from the early 1800s.
1. Jacob Kadetsky who died in 1906 in Boston lists his parents and Elias Kadetsky and Gertrude Lashinsky, which matches #4 below.
2. Shaya Aziel Kadetsky may match the Szaia listed as a child to couple number 4. The birth year matches what would be expected for Shaya Aziel and his grandparents names match his first 2 children's names.
3. Isaac Kadetsky of boston who came over in 1880 whose parents were Shmuel and Rosa could match the Szmul who is the son of #2 Abram Kadetsky. Isaac birth year in 1854 would be a year after his father died in 1853?
I will post other old kadetsky tree from the Biezun records in the coming days.

The First known US KADETSKY - Jakob 1871
So far, research has shown that three KADETSKIES arrived in the US in the summer of 1871. Since we have not yet been able to confirm the exact date of arrival (maybe they shipped in together but forgot the exact date and made one up, or confused the Gregorian and the Julian calendars, or......), we'll go by age:
The oldest was JAKOB KADETSKY, according to his FIRST PAPERS (see image), which were the initial application forms for citizenship, he was born on 20 Sept 1853 and came to the US from "Russia Poland" as it was known back then.... He reportedly arrived in NY on 28 June 1871 aged 18 and lived in NY for a few years, later moving to Boston where in 1876 he requested US citizenship.

He was married to a lady named Pauline E Baruch who was born around 1854, arrived in US 1872? and died 14/09/1930 and they had the following children:
Fannie
b. Boston 05/09/1879
m. Henry Porcelaine
Rosa
born Boston 25/06/1882
married Abraham Kalish
Nettie
born in MA 1886
married Henry Bowman
Abram
d. 13/08/1889 aged 1y10m
Tena
born Boston 23/06/1890
married Benjamin Finkelstein
Martha
born in Boston 31/05/1892
Edna
b. Boston 1899
d. April 3, 1919
buried in Tefireth Israel
In the 1885 Boston Directory he is listed as follows: Kadetsky Jacob, peddler, h. 23 Decatur
Jakob died in Massachusetts on Mar 1, 1906 and he and Pauline are both buried in buried W Roxbury, MA in Tefireth Israel Cemetery.
As far as we can see, they had no surviving sons, so their surname did not continue. However, Pauline stated she had 7 surviving children in the 1910 census, so we might be missing a son in our data.
The data given here was taken from Census reports and other documents such as the images included.
In the 1910 US Census for Suffolk County, Pauline is listed as living with her son-in-law Henry Porcelaine in Suffolk County, Boston: 75 Lawrence Avenue; as follows: Henry’s mother-in-law, Pauline E. KADETSKY (born about 1855 in Germany). Pauline is a widow. She has had eight children but only seven are living in the 1910 census. Her parents were from Germany and Pauline arrived in the United States in 1872. Also living with them are her daughters:
1. Henry's wife Fanny (born about 1880 in Massachusetts)
2. Henry’s sister-in-law, Nettie KADETSKY (born about 1886 in Massachusetts)
3. Henry’s sister-in-law, Lena KADETSKY (born about 1891 in Massachusetts)
4. Henry’s sister-in-law, Martha KADETSKY (born about 1893 in Massachusetts)
5. Henry’s sister-in-law, Edna KADETSKY (born about 1899 in Massachusetts).
